Wabi Stoneware Ring Plate

Wabi-sabi teaches that true beauty lies in the natural, the textured and the imperfect. The Wabi Stoneware Ring Plate embodies that philosophy, celebrating the raw character of clay and the quiet artistry of the kiln.

Its surface is defined by a series of fine, concentric grooves that circle outward from the centre, like tree rings, ripples on still water or the marks of a potter's wheel. The glaze settles into these grooves and breaks over the ridges, creating gentle shifts in tone and texture that change with the light. Toward the rim, the colour lifts into a soft, speckled oatmeal and cream, while the centre deepens into a warm iron-brown, as if the earth itself had pooled at its heart. As the glaze flows and settles uniquely in the kiln, every plate carries its own subtle variations.

The plate has a broad, flat surface and a low, softly rounded edge, giving it a grounded, contemporary profile. Made from durable stoneware, it's built for everyday use as well as special occasions.

It's ideal for mains, salads, roasted vegetables, grilled dishes and rustic breads, and the earthy palette makes colourful food look especially vibrant. It also works beautifully as a serving plate for cheese, fruit and pastries. Pair it with the Wabi Stoneware Ridge Bowl, Bloom Bowl and Crater Plate for a fully coordinated table.

Its natural, understated look suits Japandi, wabi-sabi, rustic modern, farmhouse and modern organic interiors, and it looks especially beautiful alongside warm wood, linen, matte cutlery and handmade ceramics.
