Twin Flame Beast Candle Stand

In the ancient Mediterranean, potters shaped animals into vessels and lamps, believing these creatures would protect the home and carry light through the darkness. Horned beasts in particular, such as rams, goats and ibex, were honoured as symbols of vitality, abundance and guardianship. The Twin Flame Beast draws on that heritage, reimagining the ancient zoomorphic vessel as a refined candle stand for the modern home.

The figure stands on four sturdy, outward-splayed legs that give it a grounded, confident stance. Its head lifts forward on a long, proud neck, crowned by a pair of horns that curl back in graceful arcs. At the rear, the tail rises and loops into an elegant handle-like curve, balancing the silhouette and adding a touch of playful movement. Rising from the centre of the back are two tall, gently flared holders, side by side, each designed to cradle a taper candle.

The surface carries the honest marks of handwork throughout. The body is pressed, pinched and shaped into a rugged, organic texture of ridges and hollows, recalling weathered stone or ancient bronze. A deep espresso and bronze glaze settles into every recess, while soft olive and golden tones rise across the raised surfaces. The horns are finished with warm antique-gold highlights that catch the candlelight beautifully, drawing the eye to the head and giving the piece a quietly luxurious glow.

This is not a mass-produced ornament. Each Twin Flame Beast is sculpted, textured and glazed entirely by hand. Because every curve, ridge and detail is shaped individually, and because each glaze responds uniquely in the kiln, no two pieces are ever exactly alike.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Never leave a burning candle unattended and keep away from flammable materials.
