Sunburst Stallion Figurine

The horse has been celebrated in folk art for centuries, as a symbol of freedom, devotion, strength and good fortune. The Sunburst Stallion figurines continue that joyful tradition, reimagined as refined, designer-level ceramic sculptures.

Each stallion stands tall on long, splayed legs, with an elegant, upward-reaching neck and a gently stylised head. The most striking feature is the mane: a radiant, fan-shaped crest of overlapping petals that rises like the rays of a sun. Each section is finely ridged and pierced with small openings, and edged with sculpted knobs that give the crest a crown-like, celebratory quality. The smaller figure is crowned with a slender spiralled horn, adding a touch of myth and whimsy that makes the pair feel like characters from an old folk tale.

These are not mass-produced ornaments. Each Sunburst Stallion is sculpted, carved, adorned and glazed entirely by hand. Because every mane, medallion and incised line is shaped individually, and because each glaze responds uniquely in the kiln, no two figurines are ever exactly alike. The subtle variations in form, colour and texture are the signature of true craftsmanship, and they make your Sunburst Stallions collected treasures that are entirely your own.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. As each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape, glaze and texture are natural.
