Riverbed Rectangular Ceramic Platter

There is a particular calm in watching a clear stream flow over smooth river stones, the water catching the light in shades of green and blue. The Riverbed Rectangular Ceramic Platter captures that tranquil scene, bringing natural texture and quiet drama to your table.

The surface of the platter is its signature. It is covered in a gentle pattern of rounded, pebble-like forms, softly raised like stones beneath flowing water. A glossy teal and sea-green glaze pools between them, settling deeper in the hollows and glowing lighter on the rounded tops, so the texture seems to ripple and shimmer as the light moves. Framing it all, the walls and underside are finished in a deep charcoal-black, with a speckled, slightly metallic rim that catches the light along every edge. As the glaze flows and settles uniquely in the kiln, each platter develops its own subtle variations.

The rectangular shape is clean and contemporary, with low, gently raised walls and softly undulating, hand-pressed edges that add warmth and character. Its long, flat surface is perfect for arranging food in neat rows or artful compositions.

The smaller size is ideal for sushi, nigiri, dumplings, appetisers, canapés and individual servings, as well as desserts and small plates. The larger size is perfect for grilled fish, kebabs, chicken wings, roasted vegetables, tapas and sharing platters, and makes a beautiful board for cheese, fruit and festive sweets. Both sizes also work as stylish decorative trays for candles, jewellery or desk accessories. Use them together for layered, restaurant-style presentation, or pair them with the Tide Pool Bowls, Ocean Pebble Platter and Midnight Lagoon Bowl for a fully coordinated, nature-inspired table.
