Amber Cascade Tiered Vase

In nature, beauty often comes in layers: the ruffled tiers of a coral fan, the overlapping petals of a peony, the soft ripples left behind by retreating waves. The Amber Cascade captures that layered rhythm in a single sculptural vessel, turning simple repetition into something rich and unforgettable.

The vase rises from a compact foot in a series of stacked tiers, each one flaring gently outward before tucking in to meet the next. As they climb, the tiers grow wider, so the silhouette opens upward like a blossom unfolding or a fountain spilling over. The edges of each layer undulate in soft, irregular waves, and the rim rises into a scalloped, organic crest that gives the vase a lively, ever-changing outline from every angle.

The surface is what makes the piece truly extraordinary. Every tier is worked with dense, fine vertical ribs, combed and pressed into the clay by hand, so the whole vase seems to ripple with movement. These hundreds of tiny ridges catch the light individually, creating a shimmering, textile-like texture reminiscent of pleated silk, ruffled shells or wind-swept sand.

The glaze brings warmth and quiet luxury. A glossy champagne, taupe and greige finish flows across the raised ribs, while deeper chocolate and earthy brown tones settle into the grooves and along the edges of each tier. This contrast highlights every line of the hand-carved texture, giving the vase remarkable depth. As light moves through the room, the surface shifts between soft lustre and gentle shadow, so the piece never looks quite the same twice.

The Amber Cascade is equally striking as a standalone sculpture or as a vessel. Display it on a console, sideboard, dining table, mantel or plinth as a bold focal point, or fill it with dried branches, pampas, olive stems or sculptural botanicals for an elevated arrangement. Its generous, flaring form also makes it a beautiful anchor for an entryway or living room corner.

Care: wipe with a soft, dry cloth. As each piece is handmade, slight variations in shape, glaze and texture are natural.
